I have always loved to draw. However, once my son was born eleven years ago, the pencils were packed away and over the years slowly migrated further and further to the back of the closet. Just a few months ago, I met someone who would become a trusted friend and somewhat of a mentor in life and art. He inspired me to reach into the back of that closet and find the art that once existed inside me. In these few months, I have not only been blessed to feel the spirit of art again, but I have found a new determination and motivation. My aim is to be better every single day and to achieve the realistic portraits that live within my mind... releasing them onto paper!
